Youth
High School
High School Family Worship service is on Wednesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm in the Plex to praise God and learn from God's Word. Family Worship features worship with the NorthWood Student Ministry band, video and a practical message from one of the NorthWood Student Pastors. Our desire is to lead our students to the heart of The Father and teach them about His love for them and how that applies to their daily lives.
Family Dinner takes place on the first Wednesday of each month. We will be cooking dinner for all grades, 7-12, at 6:15pm. Following dinner there will be a service at 7:30 for all students 7-12 grade. This will help our students grow in unity which is one of our values.
Every Sunday morning starting at 9:30am 7th-12th grade students meet in The Plex for More. More is a time where students meet around tables in a small group for bible study, discussion, and accountability, all of which will challenge them to live passionately for God and seek the more abundant life that God desires us to live. After the service, all the students will head to the 11:00am service at NorthWood and all sit together to experience worship with the church body.
T-Ops (Transformation Opportunities)
We offer high school students many opportunities to serve and make a difference in our own backyard and around the world. Each summer, students participate in Nasty Feet, a week of helping others in the community doing the dirty work that teaches students the value of serving. We offer yearly missions trips to Vietnam and Mexico.Serving others is a integral part of becoming a follower of Jesus. There are also numerous T-Ops throughout the year. Stay tuned to event section to find out more information on upcoming opportunities.
